To use Netscape's word processor to assemble your report:
Find the word "Communicator" at the top of your screen and click the mouse
on it.
When the Communicator Menu appears, choose Page Composer.
Type in text as desired.
To save your work the first time (do this as soon as you have entered any
text):

Pull Down the File Menu from the Menu Bar

Choose Save As

Type the directory location such as h:\volcano2\<yourschool>\<yourname>
(see board for example), then click Save.
To save your work later (do this regularly), click the Save Symbol on your
toolbar.
To add pictures to illustrate your report:
Move the cursor to the place where you want the picture to appear and press
the Enter key to start a new line.
Move the mouse pointer to the bottom of your screen until the Task Bar
appears.
Click the mouse on the task button that has the name of the page you visited
most recently in your browser.
It will display the "ship captain's wheel" symbol that stands for Netscape
Navigator.
(caution: don't click the smaller wheel symbol that is on the same
row - that opens a new browser window)
Find the picture you wish your readers to view.
Move the mouse pointer over the picture.
Click the right mouse button.
Choose "Copy Image Location" from the bottom of the menu that pops up at
your mouse pointer.
Move the mouse pointer to the bottom of your screen until the Task Bar
appears.
Click the mouse on the pen icon that stands for Netscape Composer.
Click the Image symbol on your toolbar.
Hold down the Ctrl button and type the letter V.
Click the OK button.
