Lesson Title: Holiday Hunt

Description:Santa is missing! Bertie the snowman and George the wizard set out to find him. Follow them all over the world. They meet children who tell stories about the stars and learn how to locate the North Star, to help Santa find the way back to the North Pole.

Standards addressed:

Students will
1) SKE1 describe time patterns (such as day to night and night to day) and objects (such as sun, moon, stars) in the day and night sky;
2) SSKH3 correctly use words and phrases related to chronology and time to explain how things change;
3) S2E1 understand that stars have different sizes, brightness, and patterns.
