The science center is proud to be part of the DeKalb County School District. We welcome students from DeKalb schools, the Atlanta metro region (and sometimes beyond!) every school day.
The science center is also open Monday-Saturday to public visitors. We invite you to experience the wonders of the universe in the Jim Cherry Memorial Planetarium, take a peek through the telescope in the Ralph Buice Jr. Observatory or explore your scientific curiosity in the exhibit hall. General admission to the science center is FREE!
We want your visit to the center to be an enjoyable and memorable experience, therefore, please be respectful and considerate of everyone. We also highly encourage you to read and follow our health and safety guidelines.
