General admission to Fernbank Science Center is free! This includes the exhibit hall and associated grounds.

Planetarium programs are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. Planetarium Information

The science center does not have a gift shop or cafeteria to purchase food, only a vending machine. Click here for local restaurants.

School Groups:
Schools (outside of the DeKalb County School District) planning to attend a planetarium program should contact the scheduler, Audrey Poole, between the hours of 8:00 AM-10:00 AM and 2:00-4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

This scheduling procedure does not apply to DeKalb schools. DeKalb teachers please click here for more information.

During the summer (end of May through the beginning of August) we ask that groups larger than 50 contact our scheduler at 678-874-7113. If your group is smaller than 50, then you do not need to contact the scheduler. Group discounts do not apply during the summer months.
